View all comments This reminds me of the time that I encountered one of my cousins whom I hadn’t talked to in 10 years at a family event. When he asked me what I had been up to, I told him that I was really into the Tropico series, and how I’ve been building a little communist island society and was having a lot of fun. His first response was, “Oh cool, so you have bread lines, secret police, and all of your citizens are poor af?”
