I think their old podcast was called Keeping It 1600 and while it was apparently focused on the presidential election, when they came back they had an entire podcast network, including a show with the Patagonia empty vest CEO of BLM.

Meanwhile in Amerikkka, people watch a show called Undercover Boss where a multimillionaire “executive” struggles to be a worker in a restaurant/factory/etc.

Part of the show, probably predetermined by the show’s producers, shows them helping an employee that is a single parent, victim of the US healthcare system, or aspiring college student, by giving them money/house/car/tuition. As if helping one person changes how they treat the rest of the workers.

The Saturday Night Live (star wars) undercover boss with Adam Driver was the last I heard of this show, I don’t know if it’s still on the air. The skit was typical SNL schlock, but it at least made fun of the show’s premise. MadTV would have done it better.

I have noticed the Wikipedia entries for the Chinese government are pretty good, from what I’ve seen. I hope this doesn’t mean that their quality will decrease due to Fed editing.

A lot of celebrities used to drive Priuses as the eco-friendly choice back when it was new, and I didn’t read anything about them dying in crashes. But Priuses don’t have the acceleration of a drag racer or quality control problems.

Parents letting their kids stay on their cell phone and AAA plans is the least they can do, considering the deterioration of jobs/housing/assistance for younger generations.

Older Americans think “kids” have it easier with all the new technology they have, but the housing costs alone are much higher than their parents (by design, of course. Home prices must continue to rise so the boomers can stay comfortable).

AAA should be a government-run entity too, since that company is basically a monopoly on car (towing, flats, jump-start) insurance. And nationalize the damn car insurance companies while you’re at it, spend the money they use on TV commercials to build HSR.

IDK if it’s nihilism or the same kind of anti-caring attitude that South Park espouses, but anyone I knew that went on that site regularly became a worse person. Either way, it’s a sad place with a horrible sense of humor, filled with Nazis.
