German unification was a highly taboo subject until very near the 20th century. Italy was likewise a bunch of microstates, there was no such thing as ‘Italy’. Spain, France, and England would all be horrified at how weakened their monarchies are. The Netherlands. The Ottoman empire just whole ass doesn’t exist anymore. Russia would be scandalized at the fact that they murdered their Tsar and his family, followed by the better part of a century’s rule by an expressly atheist government (though Putin is something of a Tsar himself, so that might allay some of their anxieties).
