The Avengers are tools of American imperialism who destabilize a country for having nukes but Thor’s a leftist who actually challenges them and opposes the military industrial complex (He was sent to Earth by Odin to end the war on terror lmao). I say accidental because I’m pretty sure the writer is a neocon through and through and the way he wrote some of the characters in the first volume is edgy and cringe at best and reactionary at worst.
