sounds like an actual creative decision, trying to evoke shit that looks fucked. this was inevitable because uncanny AI imagery has a legitimate usecase for stuff like that.

it’s a little hokey but yelling about how its so over for artists when they still did most of the work besides the static images on an intro sequence is unwarranted.

It’s funny because those movies are pretty far removed from the comics they’re based on. But fanboys who only learn about the comics through Youtube videos make these claims all the time that one scene resembling a single panel is proof that they’re just like the comics.

Ethics aside, that intro actually looks really good. The AI art definitely delivers on the uncanny and twisting feeling that it seems like they were trying to go for. The first well executed use of AI art by a major studio?
