This is a good idea… but the problem is that they aren’t that well off tbh, and I tried moving abroad on a scholarship before the pandemic began, but I didn’t get accepted. And now the local economy is also in shambles, and the job market’s even worse than before.

I’d have taken this option if I could, for real.

It’s funny how true this is, some real “I am Legend” level apocalypse survivor fantasy shit.

My understanding is that communism is a political science. As with most sciences, it can adapt and change accordingly when new data arises.

We don’t live in the Reefer Madness era where pot was thought to be dangerous. Capitalism adapted to the point of legalising it for wageslaves in progressive first world countries, as a minor respite from the dread of mindless labour. Heck, we have Silicon Valley chuds microdosing on LSD to be more productive.

Pot, blow, booze, whatever… if it makes for a happier prole, then why the hell not.

The problem arises when it becomes a form of escapism that has you chasing dragons instead of living a more meaningful life. Do I get to choose the meaning of your life? Fuck no.

I personally think drugs of all kind would be legalised in Fully Automated Gay Space Luxury Communism. There would also be rehabs for people who wish to rid themselves of the substance dependence.

But till we reach that point, look around you. At the hellworld surrounding you. Short circuiting your brain synapses for pleasure does not make for a revolutionary imho.

It’s really touching to know that there are people who are suffering from the same stuff that I feel. I too feel like a fraud, man. Glad to know that I’m not alone though, thank you for the kind words.

I started out as a beta libertarian, and then had that weird sigma radlib phase. Nowadays, I’m a pure alpha ancommie.

Sometimes though, I almost feel like I’m slipping into the gamma post leftist phase, because I was prescribed one Zizek video a day, which was supposed to keep the liberalism away, but it also has side effects so who knows.

I’m sort of into gaming but I’m in a headspace where I find I difficult to concentrate on anything for more than a while. I spend most of my time locked away in my room, scrolling through articles endlessly and reading up stuff on the net.
