I have a feeling this one has already been recommended to you - “Ukraine on Fire”. It’s OK for getting a grasp on the broad strokes.
There’s also “Agent Zelensky” - a Scott Ritter documentary, a bit too bombastic and b-roll filled, but it’s newer and covers more of the latest stuff. A word of caution - I haven’t completed the research on this one and I couldn’t dig up any info on some of the things he said in that documentary. Most of it seems to be well researched, though.
Other than that - bits and pieces from different sources, including pre-2022 Western capitalist propaganda outlets that unwillingly admitted some things. Also - declassified CIA documents that go as far back as the 1950s, funnily enough.

Also - petroleum could technically be considered “renewable”, it’s just that the amount of time you need to “renew” even a tiny bit of it (when taken into the context of the amount of petroleum the entire population can CONSOOM in a year) is ridiculous. So, part lying by omission and part “well, technically…”. And it really does not come from dinosaurs - it comes mostly from compressed plant matter (the flesh decomposes too quickly).
These tactics are often used by Ben Shapeabrain and other rightoid talking heads - omitting important details from their “sources” is how they are seen credible in the eyes of their base.
He’s just another funnel used to siphon working-class movements (along with their grassroots funding) into one big blob of socdem bullshit and then to throw it all under the bus by saying “I drop out, go vote for that senile ghoul over there”. Another useful tool for the bourgeois class. At this point it’s safe to assume that he does not believe in his own rhetoric. Those who say “he is being used by them whether he wants it or not” - no, he knows what he is and he does these things deliberately. I don’t think he’s a coward as some people say - he’s just another calculating servant of the capitalist class.
In the end - nothing new. The socdems will always side with the bourgeoisie, they will always side with the police, they will always side with the fascists.
