Thanks. Well, it’s in the news and I have perspective. TL;DR : there are no “good guys” in this election as far as the future of Belarusian people is concerned and it’s fucked.
Seems to be a common theme for the world right now. The empire might not be crumbling yet but the cracks are visible everywhere and the collapse I fear is going to be so fast given the interdependence of global markets that nobody will be able to react in time to avert total chaos. What we’re seeing now is barely a preview.

There just weren’t that many of us, and we grew up in the last days of the monoculture. So, we didn’t have much chance to make a cultural impact before the millenials, a much larger generation, came along. Plus a lot of our ethos was anti-consumerist, search for authenticity, etc. Not really something to organize a socialist revolution around.
Plus, there’s chuds in every generation.
