Every car manufacturer is selling maybe a single massively overpriced sports coupe, maybe the world’s most boring shopping cart that feels like it’s made from soda cans but is still somehow unaffordable, 10 Suburban Assault Vehicles of various sizes, and like 3 monster trucks.

I fundamentally believe you should need a CDL to drive a pickup and that they should only be available for purchase if you have any semblance of a legitimate reason to have one like being a tradesperson, farmer, or even just a hobby woodworker. Trucks should not be commuter vehicles.

Make 'em pass a CDL test to keep their truck, I doubt most of these boomers could actually pass a driving test.
Actually, everyone should have to pass a driving test like every 5-10 years to retain their license.

One of the many things that makes me scratch my head is that so many off SUVs are marketed as the “ULTIMATE OFF-ROAD VEHICLE, CONQUER EVERY MOTHER NATURE GODDESS WHATEVER HER FORM IN THE NEW ABC-SUV BY BIGCAR!” and not a single one of them has spec of dust on them. They are all glammed out at all times. They are all driven by some guy named Zach on his way to the office.
