It’s about a scruffy white man (middle aged for wisdom, but still with plenty of agility and strength, like a young’in), who fights against hordes of “the other” in order to protect the dubiously aged daughter-stand-in. Also apparently there was something of an israel-stand-in in the franchise, but I think that was more in the 2nd instalment.
You don’t really fight hordes in TLOU since it’s more stealth focussed and ammo is more scarce. And half the time the enemies are humans

The israel stand in is the “cycle of violence” rhetoric , esp in second game, which is more a liberal thing than anything else.
Liberals love pretending that Jews (Israel) and Muslims (Palestine) are eternal forces waging eternal war for all human history over the holy land, and ignore that the area was relatively stable and peaceful for hundreds of years until the British colonized it and then formed the state of Israel post-WW2, and that Israel colonized the Jews that were living in Palestine too.

Fun fact; I just now found that “Mizrahi” isn’t an ethnonym. It’s a sociological term the European Israelis invented to distinguish themselves from the Sephardic Jews of the Middle East and North Africa. All the people who were lumped in to the “Mizrahi” category were part of the post-Reconquista diaspora around the Mediterranean world and didn’t consider themselves different from the other Sephardim until the European Ashkenazi Jews showed up in Palestine and took over.
