Lol, this lady got off lucky. My dad (a Chinese man who really loves the motherland but who also lives in New York) wants the Olympic Village surrounded in walls and barb-wire and supplies tossed over like they are zoo animals. He also thinks delegations from counties with the most Covid cases should be treated worse, like the Americans and Canadians should be kept in cages becuase they are more likely to spread Covid.
He also thinks that any British person that steps foot in China should be summarily executed, but that’s more a standing policy than a Covid specific one.
