You know, a minecraft movie should have been a rags to riches story instead of a “where the heck are we??” Jumanji-ass movie. The twist? The ender dragon dies at the end of act one. It proceeds to the end -> coming back with Elytra -> automating everything -> building a house out of diamonds and gold, etc. Then the third act can be some sort of Scorcesse-style breakdown where they compete in the minecraft games, an angry competitor breaks into their house, and sets off a bunch of TNT. Either that or they end up having to play among us to find out who’s griefing. In the end they start over again (with mods if you want a sequel).

That would go crazy. They could do so much more - Jumanji could never.

I ran out of steam in the middle of BJJ yesterday. It was absolutely one of those moments. The bell rings, I fall to my knees, and I look up and realize I spent 30~ seconds sucking in wind. This is one of those things where I hate dieting not only because it doesn’t feel good to be hungry, but because it also restricts my ability to do my favorite thing.

This is an annoying thing to say, but I think about how much creativity, color, and culture comes from South America. A non-brutalized (I know less about central America but I assume) Central America would have done some shit like compete in the realm of anime. That’s a disgusting amount of lore, stories, etc. lost to the sands of time.
