That’s what he’s doing. He says he’s getting organizers to come on in the following episodes to talk about what can be done to help. He even describes ways in which people have helped before. He even argues against doomerism.
At the same time he does present a very weird sounding idea of what is to be done. Basically we just build one giant mutual aid network while propagandizing normies. Like every location in the US needs to become a makerspace. We make a parallel manufacturing infrastructure and supply chain to make (and this is his example) insulin or other medications. But we are to do all this without a state. It’s supposed to be a completely horizontal organization across the country.
It’s not that he’s saying all is lost and communism has no answers. He’s just presenting some really weird solutions while declaring he doesn’t know what to do but he hopes to podcast his way into some real answers.
