You are all hypocrites. I spent time and energy writing out how it is wrong to bully weeaboos and you all mocked me. All you can do is bully people. I thought leftism was about equality and diversity. In reality, all you do is attack white men for liking art from a diverse range of countries. Anime haters will never match the charm and cuteness of Asuna Yuuki or Rei Ayanami so I am unsurprised by your jealousy. I don’t even watch much anime.
For some reason, in my experience, the most spirited defenses of problematic things tend to be from people that claim they’re not even really into whatever’s being defended. :fry:
I would watch more anime if there was more to watch that didn’t have the qualifier of “this is really good once you get past that part!” or “the pandering to child predators actually has a point and/or is empowering and/or is satire and/or has a deeper message actually.” :kombucha-disgust:
Yeah, kind of. Saying “all hobbies do this” with the implication that all hobbies do that to the same extent with the same proportions of people to somehow justify the problematic side of anime counts to me.
