The entire point of the fediverse is to pick and choose what you want to see, so leaving it up to the user to block an instance is a better solution. The only exceptions should be illegal content and if the instance is explicitly devoted to specific subjects or ethics (lemmygrad, beehaw). Plus, I think subjugating communities increases polarity overall

As much as I agree with you, targeted media’s purpose is getting people to vote in their favor. Given the condition of the average American political environment where less than half of the eligible population actually votes, the vibes maintain tiny attention spans. The game fucking sucks
