When I’m watching youtube every so often I will get some crappy dailywire ad shilling their new dailywire plus service. The centerpiece always seems to be Petersons crappy exclusive shows. I just finished watching a documentary. That kind of frames it how you just stated. basically the hierarchy in early Northern Ireland was the anglican English landowners next were the “Ulster Scots” Presbyterians and then the native Irish Catholics were at the bottom.

So yeah, the Irish Catholics got the worst of it from the Anglo Irish aristocracy but the so called “Ulster Scots” were treated pretty poorly by the English as well because they weren’t Anglican.

All in all it’s just another story of British colonialism and social hierarchy unfortunately.
