Literally what I was about to say. I actually think the original tweet isn’t actually that far off and this is sort of in the vein of the criticism that Star Wars kinda invariably winds up making the empire, and be extension fascism, look really cool.
Cause like here’s a hot take…giant 20 story tall death robots are fucking cool and metal as shit when they actually work.
I might buy the metal gear collection and some indie titles. Kinda want to buy more but I’ve already got such an insane backlog.
He’s not even fit for office right now let alone holding office for another 4 years starting 6 months from now.
I think people seriously understate this part of the current political calculus going on.
I put it as a coin flip right now whether or not Biden gets swapped out but if the party leaders and the media adopt the position that he is unfit to serve another term due to cognitive decline…isn’t that an implicit acknowledgement that he is unfit to serve and should step down right now?

Probably my least leftwing beliefs concern animal rights, although I do think the environmental concerns due to farming make a compelling case for the switch.
Geralt is the reason I have never been able to get into the Witcher series. By all accounts the Witcher 3 is one of the greatest RPGs of all time with an insane amount of depth but I just can’t get over the fact that I have no choice to play a character that reads like a 15 year olds checklist of hyper cool masculinity. I get that the character has been around for a while and it wasn’t so much a cliche when he was first written but sheesh…I just have a hard time taking him seriously.
