We had one of the highest active subscriber bases. We had like 160,000 subs and like 100,000 users that were regularly active. Chuds used to complain that we were gaming the system somehow to get a sub with so few subscribers (compared to others) in the top 20 most active users.

So we definitely have a good chance for growth, only like 10% of our base made the Ark. And 10% paying enough attention to get there is pretty good to begin with.

We did such a good job of enforcing our own rules on reddit, we’re definitely gonna follow all the new ones.

When I asked a mod I was told they’re based on Lemmy’s rules and they’re open to changes and I got the impression that some would be more strongly enforced than others.

I had an amazing private tracker collection (ptp, btn, etc - I literally had it all) and all expired because I ended up in and out of hospital for six months and just didn’t use the Internet and didn’t think about it at all until it was far far too late.

I miss them mostly for the rarer films, TV and music. Its difficult to find everything I want on public trackers.

I’m using hermit to make do for now but this is a big issue for many. Like I think the mobile app that’s supposedly coming will lead to a fairly large jump in our numbers.
