Fuck me can you imagine how interesting that would be? It would definitely cause Chapo to self destruct because China is complicated and confusing as hell to navigate (at least for idiots like me). But it would be such a massive win for Chen and I’d be so curious to hear.
Actually are there any Chapo eps on China? I know I know I should read an actual book leave me alone
In one of the newer eps Matt and Felix went off at people who spend their time complaining about China. Felix called them the biggest cucks imaginable and Matt said something like “I wouldn’t mind not being allowed to share pictures of Winnie the Pooh if it meant I got free healthcare.” It was pretty satisfying to listen to.
Reading isn’t it’s all cracked out to be don’t feel bad you’re not currently reading book. I don’t know if they discuss China. It’s really hard to navigate their governmental structure because they have that issue the soviet union had where every side is doing big propaganda.
I disagree!! I feel like I can draw my lefty intellectual development directly to those few times I managed to finish a book. Articles are good too of course, but finishing a book that has ample time to lay out a whole intellectual/historical case for something? That’s the shit.
But yeah the big propaganda sucks. It’s always so difficult to look up facts about these countries.
