Unfortunately, for cultural identity, so it’s gonna be Pierre Pollivere blaming the liberals for the next 4 years.

No term limits, Trudeau was in office for over a decade. It may take a while for his throne to be taken

Section 56.1 of the Elections Act says that a general election is to be held on the 3rd Monday of October every 4th calendar year after the last election.

Assuming nothing career-ending happens during his administration, he’ll make at least 4 years.

Ah yes, I meant he’ll probably be blaming the liberals for way more than 4 years because I don’t see any political will from Canadians to vote anybody differently anytime soon

I mean I want to disagree. I want to say the boomers are upset about how things are looking for them, now, too. But to be quite honest, I’m absolutely certain Trudeau and the LPC can coast the next 4-8 years on brand recognition.

yep, and by then the CPC will have demonstrated that they are a bunch of fuckups and it will be time for the LPC to have another kick at the can

I’m sceptical only because the political tension has grown and the fringes have more weight than they used to. The party cratered in 2011 and might be facing an even steeper dropoff this time. If the BQ prevent them from having a solid base in Quebec and the Toronto suburbs go blue, they’ll be in pretty rough shape.

The Toronto suburbs are absolutely positively going blue

why do you need the Liberal party when you have the NDP and the Conservative Party?

Someone’s gotta maintain the illusion of progress while giving Canadians a release valve that also keeps the NDP out of power.

The NDP phases out of existence when it comes time to actually vote which is a big drawback for them

Probably because the colour orange blends with red as election day comes closer

Really cool and good that anything to the left of Hitler is unthinkable.
