They consider themselves a leftist and vote for democrats. But because democrats have become so extreme recently, they voted republican “to bring the balance back to the middle”. Then asked “how can you support leftist extremists”.
I’m 99% sure it was a bit. Maybe 0.99% chance it was bait. Then 0.01% chance it was a question in good faith.
