Here’s the thing. It’s not a bad concept when you think about YouTube because it could have brought us back the short entertainment videos that YouTube demonetized. Like those collegehumor, cracked and other shows that kind of went away in the last year could have benefited great by this concept that Quibi was trying to push. The problem is that they did the thing that every other company is doing because they had to show their shareholders that they had major “star” power behind them. I do like seeing $2b go up in flames in the last four months though.
