They got a guy in custody, let’s not be cops ourselves and say he it was him anyway
Make some jokes yeah, but speaking in the definitive only helps propagate an environment where people think the cops don’t lie, don’t plant evidence and definitely don’t pin crimes on people they can get their mitts on

Yeah which is more likely, that the shooter who planned this out cleanly, kept all the evidence on his person while only traveling a few hours away and went to McDonald’s while there’s still a manhunt on with all of that evidence and also a handwritten manifesto, or that the NYPD planted evidence as they’re known to do regularly.
Everything else was planned out, why would the guy travel a hundred miles with the only evidence tying him to the crime?
I could be wrong, but they could have just grabbed some guy who traveled to NYC under a fake ID and had a ghost gun and silencer.
They also could have just planted that evidence on him.
