People love apocryphal little stories that confirm their own biases. I saw a Twitter thread the other day that started out fine with a discussion about the way that excluding women from a field of study creates blind spots and then devolved into a bunch of people saying shit like , “I heard one time a bunch MALE archeologists found an artifact and decided it was a ritual implement until a single WOMAN saw it and instantly identified it as a dildo and everybody clapped” and then a bunch of people going “lmao so true men 😂😂😂”

Upvoting this without commenting makes it seem like I approve, so idk your real life antics but based on what you say here I would be shocked if you were truly an asshole. But if you are maybe it’s the good, tough love type of asshole who actually helps us all more than we realize.
