“The facts”

All the bullshit we just repeat all the time and pretend it’s true. Like China being aggressive, etc.

I don’t give a shit if Trump can recite your bullshit or not, if I’m super honest.

I never want to hear libs say the word forward again either. Can they find any other transitional phrase that isn’t “moving forward.” I hate it when they say the F word.

“Moving forward” / “going forward” are such annoying lib weasel words. I wish Americans made the simple effort of translating political speech into everyday speech to understand that pols are full of bullshit.

Mom: “Your room is a pigsty. When are you going to clean it up?”

Teenage child: “Moving forward I must address that issue.”

They used it so much that Obama used it as his reelection slogan. It’s such a perfect platitude that conveys nothing.

I’d be refreshing to hear them say that.

He must have planned ahead to post that before the conference was over if any mistakes or errors could be dismissed by words like “flubs”. And I assume he had other drafts ready to go if things went worse like “Look, that was rough but…”

Talk about “priors”.

He is doing the exact annoying thing Ben Shapiro does where he packages one neutral statement saying nothing and one line of dishonest spin and one red herring into three declaratives, so his faction can more easily feign that their preferred narrative is the objective reality, and that they are unbothered by what is clearly shaking their faith.

The day the NYT created this page - Which Democrats Have Called for Biden to Drop Out of the Race? - Bluesky libs had great fun with it. They really did. They said stuff like “It’s only six reps. And FIVE journalists are keeping score! That’s almost one journalist per rep!”

But their laughter quickly fell away.

Right now the page shows 17 reps and 1 senator. And the libs can still laugh at us and laugh at the public and laugh about Biden’s “flubs” and they can rage at the media. But they know in their heart of hearts Biden is one bad day away from that those stats jumping up high which means he’s going to lose the nomination. I post a screen grab when the numbers go up. If he is forced to drop out - I’m going to enjoy saying “I toldja so.” And if he survives beyond the convention and then has his bad day(s) and he’s doomed - I’ll still be able to say it.
