They peacefully folded up their banners and left when the cops asked them to, so… Yeah

To be fair on them, the greens were expected to submit a motion to recognize Palestinian statehood, and a labor senator was expected to cross the floor to vote in favour of it and basically quit labor today. But that didn’t happen, so it probably took the wind out of their sails a bit.

They’ve since been arrested.

Probably saved some time and money not having to remake those signs though.

I actually might have misunderstood. I think the protestors on the ground were the ones folding up and leaving. The people on the roof stayed up a bit longer

They should move the tent embassy to the roof of parliament house and do this all the time
