The thing which drives me up the wall about FPTP and “lesser evil” moralizing is that, given the FPTP voting system, the onus is on the party to put forward a candidate who can win a majority. Don’t blame the voters for the party’s failure. The democrats are putting up a shit candidate, so if they lose, it’s their fault. Not the people. A real tail-wagging-the-dog situation.
If you believe in democracy, then you must believe that power comes from the people, not that power whips the people into line.

I bet this person does not knock on doors for Biden. Half of the electorate does not vote, outnumbering all voters of any persuasion combined. But doorknocking means actually listening to other people’s issues and being persuasive, not a judgemental prick blasting yet another moral screed.
Trump will pursue Biden’s agenda even more aggressively than Joe Biden. Bet you didn’t think of that.
Why can’t these people just fuck off. Biden may well win and when he does they’ll completely disregard leftist opinions until the next election. Also in which fucking universe is Biden actually doing meaningful work on the list of issues. Pretty much everything has gotten worse under Biden.
