If you are a DSA member please sign the petition to get the NPC to actually commit to supporting the BDS cause. Not only is actual support for BDS on the line but also is the DSA’s ability to hold its elected politicians to its party line. There’s little point in engaging in any electoral politics if you can’t keep your politicians in line.

A deep felt thank you goes out to the rank-and-file DSA members who fought and supported the two convention resolutions put forward by the BDS and Palestine Solidarity Working, “Make DSA an Anti-Zionist Organization in Principle and Praxis” and “Overturn the NPC Decision to Suspend the Steering Committee of the BDS and Palestine Solidarity WG.”

Despite wide support for these resolutions, including more than 600 signatures in support, the national DSA leadership has excluded the two resolutions from the convention agenda while adding their undemocratic and rushed recommendation to dissolve our working group into the International Committee.

We now have one final ask heading into the convention in less than a week. Please support, sign, and share our amendment to the NPC recommendation and let’s ensure that the push for an Anti-Zionist DSA stays alive so that elected delegates can decide what is at stake for DSA’s future.
