He’s not even a symptom, he’s just an accurate image of the system without its mask on. He is the American ruling class, he is the average American politician, he’s just also too much of a boorish lout to hide what that really means, all the rot and cruelty and predation that the entirety of the ruling class is animated by but will deny to the bitter end and refuse to acknowledge even when it breaches their carefully trained masks.

I hate CNN for Russiagating my parents while I was at college. It made my mother scared that my dad found penpals in Russia (he found them in other countries too). He just wants to help the guy learn better English and talk about retired guy stuff.
