I think this is ultimately the correct way to think about this. The petty bourgeoisie were fucking pissed that we dared close their surplus value extraction machines for even a few weeks to a month or whatever. It radicalized and mobilized a bunch of people that has a lot of latent political power and they have not stopped whining about it since.
They ended up adopting whatever dipshit ideas that reinforce the conception that whatever happened during “lockdowns” were a fundamental, treasonous trespass and they have been banging that drum ever since, pulling every lever possible.
And guess what? Like any leftist knows the owners have a tremendous ability to shape ideology when they’re motivated to do so. And here we are.
If nothing else this should remind leftists in the Imperial core that we have been defeated soundly and we don’t have to make minor advancements we have to rebuild from the bottom up. So whatever shit org you’re too cool too participate in get involved - do everything you can because if we’re going to win we all have to be all in.
my brother is working in a dining hall type thing and he said he’s trying to get them to set up box fan filters in the dining area (I guess the hip new phrase is “Corsi Box”) but Boss Guy is just like “we’re complying with the university’s expectations and idk if I wanna mess with the aesthetics of the room”
