Yes. They are exactly the same as our ultras in that any attept at real libertarianism by definition must be either perfect and successful or old and propagandised enough for them to idealise it (like what Thatcher and Pinochet did).
Milei promised and they expected libertarian success, but he’s clearly not delivering, which (since libertarianism is by definition perfect, everything other is just socialism) two things:
- Milei not did enough libertarianism, so he also did some socialism, ergo he’s a dirty socialist traitor
- Milei did the libertarianism wrong, ergo he’s a dirty socialist traitor
The formerly exuberant Milei posters on my feed have gone silent so I assume it’s going poorly.

Awful, and its going to get worse. Something that is rarely mentioned is that a huge plague hit grain production in Argentina and it could impact about 20% of the grain production, argentina being a primarily agricultural country, this is going to cause even more poverty.
His honeymoon with the average Argie is gone, his drop in popularity has been so rampant that many fear will trigger something to have him removed by force before the end of his presidency.
