Bread with boiled condensed milk is really good too, although you have to make sure that the can doesn’t explode while you boil it, a piece of wood underneath and adding more water midway is helpful.

oh also our family has a fuckton of berry bushes. this is very common in rural czechia. just everyone as a bunch of 100+ year old bushes chocked full of berries. strawberries, raspberries, everything. we have an entire hedge that surrounds our family home and neighborhood back in czechia that is nothing but berry bushes for like a solid mile or so and nobody gives a fuck if you pick some because theres just so much to eat
