Oh my god this listing for a “New York style” apartment in Portland, Maine.

I’m not in Portland, but the real estate and rental markets in the region (really all of Maine) have exploded in the last year or so. A lot of the units in that part of town got converted to short term leases like this because they’re right near the largest hospital in the state and travel nurse agencies will pay the absurd rents and pass it onto the hospital. The dumbasses in that city narrowly voted down a ban on short term rentals like this in 2020 too.
