If the west doesn’t interfere, these Nazis lose. If they lose they get eradicated and the new Ukrainian state will not include them.
Everything hinges on them appealing to the west as sympathetic underdogs. They went all in on it. Then they fumbled it by being so overtly fascist in a way that reviles some in the West (not enough sadly). They could have acted like good clean cub scouts in their blue and gold uniforms with blond hair and blue eyes, and the west would have risked nuclear war to save their beloveds.
That would require Nazis to be capable of objective force evaluation, which they aren’t. (The originals took on both world superpowers simultaneously.)
They honestly believe they can win this by themselves, and probably take on NATO too if they have to.
They’ve been carrying out atrocities for near a decade and NATO has had their back this far.

European fascism also differs from US in this. In the US, fascists don’t have a history of street fights, and occupying towns. Yours are, especially the new generation, decentralised, online, and advance their ideology in conservative groups. And those folks keep it on the dl, for the most part.
Only REALLY recently have we seen the same here. AfD in Germany, FvD in the Netherlands. Parliamentary neo-nazis, posing as “the civilized new right”. (whether they succeed in that or not is another)
