EDIT: I have a new website that may be more up to date and has links to the first five chapters of the first and second book: https://ulyssestuggy.com/

I looked over the site rules and I hope I’m not breaking any rules unintentionally by linking to that site. I have just completed and self-published the second book of a three book trilogy, the third and final book’s rough draft will hopefully be done this month, but until that rough draft is completed and finalized for release, I wanted to share what I had so far.

The first five chapters of my first book are available for free on the site and I welcome feedback on those. My wife set the website up, not me, so hopefully the links work, especially the ones to the first five chapters. If they don’t I can tell her and she can see what she can do. I could probably send anyone more of my work via email, in particular the supplemental short stories that are otherwise tied to the newsletter my wife also set up, if anyone would like to look over those and provide feedback.

This link may also go straight to the first five chapters of the first book in the trilogy:

Here’s a link to the first five chapters of the second book:

The cover artist I hired with what little I have is fantastic; if anyone’s own writing projects have use for a sci-fi artist that can weave emotion brilliantly into technological spectacles, he’s great.

AUGUST 2022 UPDATE: The third and final novel in the trilogy, Tulpa Rebirth, is about to be released. Free advance copies are available for a few interested persons, and all I ask in return is a review once you’re done with the book and the official release happens. Send me a personal message if interested.

The Tulpa War rages on, and in the ongoing dance of death, no one is safe.

The Olympians of Mars are immortal no more, falling one by one at the blood-soaked hands of the mysterious Reine Rouge. New champions arise on Earth and armies of Preta-haunted machines emerge like living nightmares to meet them.

The fires of revolution burn brightly as old allegiances are torn apart. Some fight for hate and vengeance while trampling over the ruins of the past. Others fight for love and redemption, striving for a future that might yet be.

Megan and Kitsune reunite amid the ashes. The final battle for life itself is about to begin.

Fans of the Gundam franchise, the Pacific Rim films, the Nier: Automata and Zone of the Enders video game serieses, or the Heavy Fear and Lancer RPGs settings are cordially invited to the climactic conclusion of the Tulpa Trilogy.

As a personal message to anyone on Hexbear reading this, I have been looking forward to writing this conclusion for years, and without spoiling anything, I promise that there is a satisfying conclusion. No story should go without one.

Halifax, Nova Scotia, and probably across the strait from Dartmouth.

It’s a beautiful place, but climate change wasn’t kind to it a few generations from now.

It starts in Nova Scotia, at least.

Most of the books take place in Siberia, Mongolia, and Central Asia.

Read the beginning there, its good stuff, don’t have time atm for all 5 chapters but its gripping enough to make with wish I did. All the links seem to work for me. Congrats on the first two and good luck finalizing the third.

Thank you.

If you have time for more specific feedback it will certainly be welcomed later. This won’t be my last writing project, not if I can help it.
