Federation will make that even better. The abusive, power-tripping mods of yesteryear lose a lot of their ability to bully their users using their monopoly on access to the community when users can just join another instance and continue socializing with said community.
That’s what I’m hoping for. I’ve said it before, but I hope that when Federation rolls out for Lemmy it’ll be a case of being able to create my own instance and follow communities from other instances. That would rule.
