Don’t cross the picket line. There are other cereals you can get in the meantime. This isn’t just a boycott, but supporting a strike where you can. Also let others know about the strike.

Edit - here’s a link to affiliated products, including some you might not know about like Morningstar farms (if you’re vegetarian/vegan)

Very true. Just to be on the safe side, cereal companies don’t generally manufacture their own generics, do they?

I think they sell it off to generic labels or even have them produced in the same place. I think if you’re concerned, you can Google the cereal company to see where it was packaged. I’d double-check and barring that, buying a rival brand.

The company insists that its offer is fair and would increase wages and benefits for its employees that it said made an average of $120,000 a year last year.

Is it just me or have articles been using medians a lot more often the last year or few months? Averages jump out as blatant bullshit now.

How much they make is irrelevant to the strike any way. Workers go on strike for lots of great reasons other than “give us more money”.

“We are disappointed by the union’s decision to strike. Kellogg provides compensation and benefits for our U.S. ready to eat cereal employees that are among the industry’s best,” Kellogg spokesperson Kris Bahner said in a statement

Wow at least some of the workers are cereal.
