I prefered to post it in Shit Reactionaries Say, because his “communist” party is actually socdem (since the 90s at least) and he made a lot of reactionary statements about food choices, he’s been seen parading with a right wing police union, and he’s publicly very critical of political parties to the left of his. He’s known for not being trustworthy, as someone else here already said, “Roussel isn’t a comrade” is a popular slogan amongst the rest of the left.
