Russia was fooled once. It was the West that destroyed the Istanbul peace treaty, and both Ukrainian officials and other politicians - German, Turkish, even the Zionists admitted Russia wanted peace. Russia was fooled twice.

The exact opposite was proven, the west had no intention of honoring any of their previous agreements by their own admission. Any treaty with western powers isn’t worth the paper it is written on, how could Russia (or anyone really) trust them again after that?
The war will end with a ceasefire or the end of Ukraine - plus a bunch more dead Ukrainians.
