I would actually say that Corbyn is closer to someone like Chavez in actual economical and foreign policy beliefs than any american (or western at large) prominent socdem. Maybe due to the fact that they coth have a communist background (both trots). Old 20th century labor had room for actual communists opperating within them. In comparison even Bernie’s “radical past” was around current Corbyn’s openly demsoc powerlevel. And his modern bluedog socdemism is much less. Of course Xi is a communist and even if dengism ,that he opperates through, fails its at worst a ennactable and stable non imperialist longterm socdem/demsoc plan for a country like China.
