Oh I did steal some shit. And I did leave them a scathing review on glassdoor. I might try the state labor board.

The only problem with this is that I live in a larger midwestern city, and the company only employs like 25 people. I’m not so sure the local news would actually give a damn.

I know this isn’t really the answer you’re looking for… but you’re allowed to like some things that aren’t specifically leftist in nature.

If Batman were real, it would definitely be problematic. But he’s not. He’s a comic book/movie character. Your existence does not need to revolve around enjoying only things specifically leftist in nature. It’s too fucking exhausting to live like that. You obviously already see the flaws in his character. So go watch the damn movie read the comics and enjoy yourself. Life is too short and too hard to worry about Batman existing in a leftist narrative. Maybe talk to other people who might not see how Batman is a billionaire that gives poor people concussions. But that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy it. He’s not real.

No definitely not a good president. But a better one than Biden. Which is a VERY low bar.

It just occurred to me that if Donald Trump won re-election, this Ukraine situation may have never happened. Trump didn’t like NATO, he liked Putin. Along with his recent comments about the whole deal… He may have just straight up rejected Ukraine’s attempt to join for a better relationship with Russia/Putin. Which just goes to show all the people who said US foreign policy would be better off with Trump instead of Biden were right. If this war goes nuclear or even if Russia starts a massive ground invasion… Donald Trump straight up would’ve been a better president than Joe Biden.

I personally don’t see how there could ever be a society that doesn’t work. I think work as a concept should be different than what it is now. I think every living person has a right to free housing, education, food, water, and healthcare no matter their work status. But some jobs just can’t be automated. Most of those jobs take very specific education and training. And I don’t think it’s unreasonable to give the people who choose those careers some kind of compensation for their efforts to keep society functioning. I think those work places should be democratic and the hours should be shorter if possible. Maybe I’m short sighted or maybe I’m a fuckin lib. But I don’t see how you can completely abolish work in even 100 years. We need utility workers to keep the power, and water on. We need healthcare workers to stay physically and mentally healthy. We need farmers to grow food. We need mechanics to fix equipment. We need mutual aid networks that takes a lot of work. These are just a few examples of jobs I don’t see being automated in even the next 5 generations. And if you’re thinking beyond that, I think you’re getting into utopian idealism and who’s to say?
