Fuck that, I’ll play the content my way, bought legitimately (ripped myself) or not.

What you want is a Cam with Telesync, at least you don’t get the background noise.

The image quality is better than what it was, and the sound can be okay if captured directly instead of the theater room’s audio (some theaters offer audio jack for accessibility purposes).

It became false once more data became available… How do you deal with that, when you need to deal with a situation with partial information?

It’s not like they meant to lie about it, then had to make a decision and you can’t always make the right choice when you’re missing data.

How do you take into account that someone told what they believed was true at the time although with limited knowledge, which then became false as the situation developed?

Intent is considered in the justice system, although sometimes hard to determine with 100% certainty.

Sometimes you need to make a decision NOW with partial information.

Aside from that, I’ve tried IPTVnator (FOSS, so that’s great) but doesn’t actually display the content.

What do you mean it doesn’t display the content? And IPTVnator added Xtream support about 3 weeks ago with version 0.14.0

That would help, but just that single incentive would be a no for me.

Connect for Lemmy and Sync for Lemmy both does it.

Compensation for the time and cost of commuting back and forth, paid meal, free coffee and snacks, and additional sick days from using public transport and ultimately catching more sicknesses.

And even then, it doesn’t give me back the extra time I can spend with my kids.
