OK yeah, I knew the Asian vote collapsed this time around. I don’t know how they are going to address that, and frankly I am skeptical that Starmer is going to do anything to. I guess Lammy calling for an immediate ceasefire is an attempt to throw them a bone, but words don’t really mean much.
It’s nice to see that there is at least some recognition that the Labour win was more about the Tory collapse and Reform strategy (and possible backroom deal between Farage and Starmer???) than anything that Labour actually did. Saw some sickos trying to claim that Labour ran a much better campaign in the North than in 2019, which is very easy to do when you don’t have the current ruling faction of Labour pushing for an incredibly divisive Brexit redo, helping to sabotage the election.
I understand that their is a historical precedent, but the only thing that actually matters is presidential nomination and Senate approval. The idea of “qualifications” for judges have been dead for years. A bunch of the federal court appointments have been way underqualified over the past 10 years.
