Mass purging leads to bad outcomes? That’s not what all my tankie friends said!

And they’re going for coal in some places because the political situation has made other reliable energy sources unavailable:

  • the Russia-Ukraine war has destroyed natural gas supply lines to Europe
  • anti-nuclear activism has resulted in lack of nuclear investment

Outside of coal, nuclear, and natural gas, there aren’t many options for reliable sources of electricity.

There are concerns outside of the list you wrote. For example:

  • people need energy and coal is a source of energy

Seems to me that the data validations should be designed to only present a conflict if you have a business operating in the same place at the same time as another business.

This enables mixed-use scheduling, and it also allows the system to retain historical data about businesses that are completely replaced by other businesses, allowing for viewing of older snapshots of the map.

That being said, I have no idea what this sub is or what we’re discussing.

I use a weed eater. Aka a string trimmer. It mostly just saws the potatoes in half unless I keep it moving. That’s what makes it efficient. The only inefficient part is meticulously placing thousands of potatoes on the floor with their non-peeled side facing up. I use my Spot robot for that, in the second garage. Spot lets me know when it’s time for another mass peeling.

I’d let Spot just carve the potatoes himself with a little paring knife but we all know where that goes. 🤨

$50k means $25/hr because people work 2000 hours per year.

I love teaching, but the job of being a schoolteacher scares the heck out of me. Trying to earn the respect of 30 kids, while working from some standardized lesson plan, it sounds awful. I wouldn’t last a month.
