I’m glad that a famous person is talking about communism in a positive manner, I’m just peeved that celebrities have so much power over the opinions of people.

Why do celebrities feel the need to comment on everything and why are we expected to take them seriously.

There are a lot of people who are very passionate about their field and want nothing more than to teach and do research. University administrators and a lot of older professors with tuition use these people basically as slaves, making them pull off insane hours without any compensation. They do this by promising them that if they work hard enough, they’ll eventually get a full-time job as a professor and actually start getting paid, but in reality, these people generally just get sucked dry off their passion and end up working in a gas station.

Yes, I’ve also sometimes felt like this website is a bit too irony poisoned and hostile. I would recommend simply logging off if you start getting tired because it’s really not worth it to work yourself up over something someone you’ll never meet said as a joke.

I like SoAD’s self-titled album just because of how unpredictable and frantic each song is. Probably their my favorite album of theirs.

I was more talking about how similar they are pronounced, not about having non-gendered pronouns, I know that is a fairly common thing.
