I don’t know if it’s a good idea to build a new engine from scratch… Maybe it is but I don’t know, behind an engine you need to have support and development, so this thing needs to be improved and supported along the versions to be safe, so I don’t know if it’s a good idea or not 🙃

Don’t know how much storage you have on your phone but you should just try these steps : If you are downloading from YouTube Music you won’t get the best quality but for me that’s okay. So I just recommend you to download an android client for yt-dl and then download what you want. If you are downloading only 1 or 2 gigs of music it should be okay, but if you are downloading more or wanna take care, you should use a VPN 😁

In this world the companies are willing always more money and the govs more power. Since the beginning of the Humans we speak and we discuss physically, and the capitalism couldn’t ever remove that to people. But now there is a new way of communication that everyone can use, the usage of internet. And the companies really understand that so they went fast to go before the people and catch this new technology to deceive the people on the real use case and way of using it. Today the way of distance communicating is mostly in the hands of big techs, so as I seen here, privacy is a shield and it shouldn’t be perfect but is to protect you from big techs. The privacy is not going to resolve some of the most important problems in the world, but in the world we leave if we do nothing to counter these acts it would be even worst. So privacy is a shield to protect the population from the future consequences of capitalism.

The govs previously used all the logs and trace on the internet to snoop on every connection, now they using the AI the worst way possible, to add way to trace untraceable things such as physicals individious… Governments preventing the use of AI for doing bad stuff, BUT do you think that what they do is good? Stop trusting the govs, don’t be stupid and protect our privacy!

All the time they promised some surveillance tech to improve a security somewhere. Why does this approach works? Because people care much more about the fact of reducing theft and agression, than the fact of giving away their privacy. Sure a solution should be consider to resolve some of the modern issues but none of these should entrave the privacy of Individious.

Even when using open source alternatives the server know your IP and you don’t know what they are going to do.

The answer is simple, they are not the right way so YouTube doesn’t offer them a real way to fetch content. So it adds a first layer of latency for the alternatives as FreeTube and NewPipe (I actually don’t know so much about GrayJay). And after adding a bit of latency, you increase this by going trough a server for Piped, LibreTube and Individious.
