To add to the insults, it was pointed out to me via Instagram yesterday, that in this shot from the trailer and film, you can see the crew member helping to pull the hatch open. 😄

By the sound of it, thats going to be impossible! I wonder how much this will impact the directors going forward? I wonder if this will put them in movie jail?

Why is 4K dumb?

I was discussing this recently with someone. I feel that as the franchise continues, their good action films but bad Terminator stories. Genisys was the low point for me so far.

It feels like the Star Wars problem, we’ve had nine films based around the Skywalker’s and look how that ended up. I feel that Terminator needs to drop the John Connor anchor and approach from a different angle

I know John Connor is the centre of the franchise lore but I feel we’ve exhausted that avenue of story telling. Although I just remembered they killed him off in the beginning of Dark Fate but that film still had issues.

Not much on Saturday. Sunday was a planned trip to the Sister-in-laws. It was going to be a roast dinner, then it was a BBQ, and finally downgraded to jacket potatoes and salad.

Both my sons are autistic, one more than the other. He was initially excited about the big temporary swimming pool that was going to be there. Sadly, it was a different pool to last time and the water smelt funny and to top it off, his brother pushed him in, which was the final straw.

I had to take him home to calm down and left my other son and wife to enjoy themselves. It was only a few hours and I had to come back and pick them up as my other son had enough.

And there’s this saying, “Autism Rocks!” 😆

I really enjoyed both films despite their shortcomings. They definitely felt censored with lots of character buildup missing.

Just gotta find the time to watch these directors cuts!

Unfortunately, money talks. Studios are afraid to spend big money on a film with a “limited” R rated audience. Lower the rating, more bums on seats.
