A well done dub can sound better than the original for its intended audience. I’ve only seen it done well with western animation tho, anything live-action sounds terrible and I’ve never seen a good anime dub in my native language.
I thought mew-genics had been cancelled. Neat!
One Piece. It has this sense of wonder and freedom, and is so versatile as a setting, but also not (just) whimsical. A lot of the conflicts revolves around historical wrongdoings, misunderstandings and conspiracies. That coupled with the different cultures of every island and a cool power system gives the setting some real vibrance.
I also have a soft spot for ordinary settings with supernatural underbellies (is that what people call magical realism? idk).

I love that the address is 666 and there’s bats in the background. Very spooky Ben
and less creative/fun than it was when it was released
That’s what frustrated me, the game felt more railroady as it went on. The most fun thing in CCGs for me is discovering an iteraction you never thought of before and trying it out.
It might be a fun phone game if I can resist the impulse to grind for some stupid legendary that will most definetly suck.
This is slander, my brain is usually much smoother
What, you don’t want to see CGI Mojo Jojo with hyperrealistic fur???
Nonsense, the live-action cringe will continue until morale improves.
