The free version is perfectly usable.

You need to buy an actual subscription if you want access to folders, bookmarks, chapters, etc.

Another vote for Pocket Casts.

But just a note here … They’ve moved away from one time purchase to a subscription model. I myself use the free version but if you want bookmarks and chapters and what have you, you’ll need to shell out.
