yeah it seems like a bad idea. banning people for posts is fine because everyone can see the post. but only mods have access to the downvote ‘records’ so they can just ban whoever and say ‘it was the downvotes!’

and i hope im not being too aggressive when i say i dont really trust the mod team right now with that kinda power. i’ve argued with mods and admins on here a couple times, they can be just as pigheaded and petty as any other poster.
